Overview

The EVVA AirKey Proximity Card - 100 Cards pack provides one hundred contactless proximity cards for use with the EVVA AirKey electronic access control system. Each card acts as a user credential, presented to an AirKey reader to gain access once it has been authorised on the system.

Cards are supplied blank and must be authorised individually in the AirKey software before use, in the same way as a fob or mobile phone credential, with each card's authorisation using one keycredit. A pack of this size suits larger sites or a full site-wide rollout, where a substantial stock of cards is needed at once.

Suitable For

This 100 card pack is suitable for larger businesses or sites using the EVVA AirKey electronic access control system, wherever a substantial number of staff, tenants or visitors need a physical card credential rather than a fob or mobile phone, such as during a full site rollout or when maintaining a ready stock of replacement cards.

What's Included

  • 100 x EVVA AirKey Proximity Cards

Cards are supplied unauthorised and must each be set up individually in the AirKey software before they will operate a reader.

Installation & Maintenance

Each card must be authorised in the AirKey software before it will work, which uses one keycredit per card. Once authorised, access rights can be set for one door or several at the same time, and can be changed later using a further keycredit per change.

If a card is lost or stolen, it can be deactivated in the software so it no longer operates any reader, without needing to change the access rights of other users. Keeping a larger stock of cards on hand makes it quicker to issue a replacement or set up a new starter as needed, particularly across a larger site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these cards work straight out of the pack?

No, each card must first be authorised individually in the AirKey software before it will operate a reader.

Does authorising each card use a keycredit?

Yes, authorising each card uses one keycredit, in the same way as authorising a fob or mobile phone. Authorising all 100 cards would use 100 keycredits.

What happens if a card is lost or stolen?

It can be deactivated in the AirKey software so it no longer works, without affecting the access rights of other users.

Can one card be set up for multiple doors?

Yes, a card's access rights can cover a single door or several doors, and only uses one keycredit provided this is all done at the same time.

Why buy cards in a pack of 100 rather than a smaller quantity?

A larger pack is a cost-effective way to keep a substantial stock of cards on hand for larger sites, full rollouts, or ongoing replacement needs, without needing to reorder frequently.

What software is used to manage these cards?

Cards are managed through the free AirKey software, used to authorise cards and set or change their access rights.
