Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement – Ethical Trade Statement
Introduction
This statement sets out Wyatt Crocker Ltd.’s actions to understand all
potential modern slavery & ethical trading risks related to its business and to
put in place steps that are aimed at ensuring that there is no slavery or human
trafficking in its own business and its supply chains. This statement relates to
actions and activities during the financial year 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020.
As a part of the building & construction supply chain the organisation
recognises that it has a responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and
human trafficking.
The organisation is absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human
trafficking & maintain ethics in its corporate activities, and to ensuring that its
supply chains adhere to these values.
Organisational structure and supply chains
• Wyatt Crocker Ltd schedule & supply Architectural Ironmongery to customers,
developers and sites within the UK
• Products supplied are manufactured and imported by our trusted UK
suppliers.
The organisation currently operates in the following countries:
• United Kingdom
Direct exposure of slavery or human trafficking:
• As an established family business based in the UK we are able to personally
assure good practice in our company.
• Directors & a majority of shareholders are present in the office on a daily
basis and active in the day-to-day running of Wyatt Crocker Ltd.
• We are easily able to ensure that Wyatt Crocker Ltd has policies in place
ensuring that all our employees are treated fairly and in line with UK laws &
good practices.
• We ensure health & safety procedures are maintained & followed
• Employees are able to approach Directors in person if they have any
concerns.
• ETI Base Code Values are followed:
- Employment is freely chosen
- Freedom of association & the right to collective bargaining are respected
- Working conditions are safe & hygienic
- Child labour shall not be used
- Living wages are paid
- Working hours are not excessive
- No discrimination is practised
- Regular employment is provided
- No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed
The following activities are considered to be at high risk of slavery or human trafficking:
• As Wyatt Crocker Ltd is a wholesale supplier our highest risk of exposure to
slavery would be via our suppliers and their manufacture sources. We
understand that the exposure to slavery is likely to be more prevalent in low
cost manufacturing countries.
• We have two companies who supply 50% of our incoming goods so we have
judged these to be our highest exposure.

Established 1986 and operating in the UK. Locations of factories for
manufacture are China & India.

Zoo Hardware Ltd
Established 2010 and operating in the UK. Locations of factories for
manufacture are China & India. Most recent Zoo Hardware Ltd Ethical
Sourcing Policy as attached
• The balance of our range is purchased via trusted manufacturer within the
UK, which enables us to satisfy our clients demand. We always purchase
from respected companies that are trusted by ourselves and historically within
the trade.
Responsibility for Wyatt Crocker Ltd.’s anti-slavery initiatives:
• Policies: Staff are able to raise concerns regarding our supply chain directly
with Directors.
• Investigations/due diligence: Directors ensure that investigations are
carried out immediately by themselves or a responsible member of staff.
• Training: Employees have been supplied a copy of this statement and
directed to read ‘ETI guide to buying responsibly’ & ‘ETI Base Code’ and
asked to raise any queries or concerns they have regarding their employment
or the employees of our supply chain to Wyatt Crocker Ltd Directors.
