This article has been designed to help with the installation of the Apollo Integrated Lighting Mirror. At Ironmongery Experts, we stock a wide range of bathroom mirrors for domestic and commercial use, to view our full range please click here.

Tools Required.

  • Spirit level
  • Measuring tape
  • Isopropyl surface cleaner
  • Drill
  • Safety gloves and glasses

Instructions.

Safety note: Always use safety glasses and gloves as mirrors are fragile.

Begin by cleaning the surface of the wall and back of your mirror, then measure the space between the two drill holes on the back.

Use a spirit level parallel to your vanity or wall tiles and mark out the two drill holes either end of the previous measurement, making sure they are even.

Drill and fit the wall plugs accurately, for the electrical supply, drill a third hole in the centre for the electrical cable.

Use caution mounting the mirror, it’s best to have two people for this step. Lift the mirror at either end from the bottom and slot it into the plugs.

Care Guide.

To best look after your mirror and mirrored surfaces, we recommend using a microfibre cloth with a glass-friendly polish. Avoid using heavy chemicals as they can leave shadows on the mirror. Stubborn stains can be removed with distilled white vinegar combined with water on a clean microfibre cloth.

If you are having trouble removing the film from the mirror, swab the area with a microfibre cloth with trace amounts of nail polish remover and then gently scrub with another soft microfibre cloth that’s been dampened with a glass-friendly polish.
