The bolt is fixed to the face or edge of the door using the screws supplied, with the keep fitted to the frame or floor in the corresponding position so the bolt shoots securely into it.
Finished in Satin Stainless Steel, this item should be wiped with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to keep the surface clean, avoiding abrasive cleaners which could damage the finish. Check periodically that the bolt slides smoothly and that fixing screws remain tight. A small amount of light lubricant can be applied to the bolt mechanism if it becomes stiff.
